Job description
The Sr Sales Development Representative at Innodata is responsible for identifying and prospecting for new opportunities and this role is critical in supporting Innodata as a sales development representative. Your work focuses on outbound sales strategy, and you confidently share our managed service offerings across Traditional AI and Generative AI with outside prospects. This member needs to be highly organized, and you'll spend a lot of time making cold calls, preparing lists and lead generation is your main responsibility, moving leads through a sales pipeline. You provide positive insights as a product knowledge specialist.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively engage with prospective clients, identify and qualify sales opportunities, and generate interest in Innodata’s managed services in both traditional AI (NLP, OCR, ASR) and GenAI (RLHF, Model Safety, SFT)
Market Research & Intelligence: Understand the competitive landscape, identify target industry segments, and stay informed of industry trends.
Collaboration with Sales Leader: Partner with a senior member at Innodata to strategize on lead quality and conversion, ensuring a seamless hand-off for qualified opportunities.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of activities in salesforce, manage lead and account data, and monitor progress against sales metrics.
Outbound Campaigns: Develop personalized email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach to effectively engage prospects and build a strong pipeline.
Performance Optimization: Continuously refine outreach techniques and adopt best practices to enhance prospecting success.
Required Experience
Industry Knowledge: 2-3 years in an SDR role in previously company.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating leads, meeting or exceeding KPIs, and helping drive revenue growth.
CRM and Sales Tools: Proficiency in salesforce and experience with prospecting tools (Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, etc.).

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage senior members across data science, machine learning, and AI decision-makers.
Prospecting Techniques: Skilled in cold calling, email campaigns, and leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn for prospecting.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data, evaluate prospect engagement metrics, and adjust strategies based on insights.
Time Management & Organizational Skills: Proven ability to handle multiple accounts, leads, and follow-ups simultaneously.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand client needs and pain points, positioning Innodata’s value proposition effectively.

Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Understanding of data labeling, annotation for traditional AI and GenAI projects is a plus.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 USD
Salary rates at Innodata vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the role, skill set, educational background and geographic location.
