Job Title: Generative AI Associate Analyst (English and Spanish)

Location: U.S. Remote

Employment Type: Flexible Contract Role (Part-time, up to 25 hours weekly)

This is not a traditional full-time role. It’s a part-time, remote, flexible, project-specific opportunity designed for independent contractors who want to make a real impact—on their schedule. Whether you're a writer, linguist, educator, researcher, or just deeply passionate about language and logic, this role lets you contribute to cutting-edge AI development while maintaining control over your time.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Creating training data sets for AI models that will help improve their accuracy, fluency, coherence and/or voice 

  • Annotating data to help AI models align with human values 

  • Analyzing and improving the grammar, syntax, and sentence structure of both expert generated training data and AI model-generated text to ensure it adheres to linguistic rules and conventions 

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to refine and iterate data sets 

  • Contributing to evolving specifications for AI-model training and data recipes 

  • Navigating a dynamic environment and adapting to shifting guidelines and flexible priorities 

  • Achieving target KPIs, including daily job count and average handle time per job, within specified data production windows 

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following fields is required. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are strongly preferred: Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering (Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering), History, Law, Math, Medical - Health Science, Philosophy, Physics, or Psychology 

  • Professional or Expert level proficiency (C1/C2) in English and Italian

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $30.00 USD

 

Hourly rates at Innodata vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the role, skill set, educational background and geographic location. As required by local law, Innodata provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
